Royal Oman Police has developed many Special Task Force complex and Regional Head
Quarters all across Oman, featuring approximately 36 Olympic swimming pools and 3 Diving pools.
The complex in Muscat city has a 50m swimming pool according to FINA standards and a diving pool.
This facility has a large technical room divided into two areas: one for the diving pool and the other for the 50m pool. For this installation had been chosen 16 pumps FDN-126H in bronze, for their great resistance to environment conditions in the Middle East. There are 8 pumps per pool: 4 working and 4 on stand-by. The 4 units in operation guarantee the recirculation of the water of the 50m pool in 3 hours, and the diving pool in 3.5 hours.
All components of the FDN-1500 bronze, which have contact with water are manufactured in Rg5 bronze. His large capacity pre-filter, designed to ensure that the pump does not suffer from cavitation, gives a great robustness to the pump. This range operates at 1450 rpm and with its high-efficiency IE3 motors, a long durability of the pumps is guaranteed. Some of the complex work with casted stainless steel AISI-316 FDN-126H pumps.
